Florence-Darlington Tech: Spent two seasons playing for Florence-Darlington Tech where he batted .255 his freshman season... In his sophomore campaign he batted .346 with 23 RBI, six doubles, a triple and two home runs... Earned the coaches award in 2007.

 

Prep (South Johnston HS): A 2005 graduate and three year letter winner at South Johnston High School... A two-time All-Conference performer for the Trojans... Led South Johnston to a 15-9 record and captured a conference championship his junior season... Batted .347 with a .776 slugging percentage and a .573 on base percentage in his senior campaign.
