Prep/Personal:Gia joins the Fighting Camels as a forward from Bishop Dwenger HighSchool. She plays her club soccer for Fort Wayne Fever Academy aswell as the WPSL's Fort Wayne FC.  Casaburo scored 46 goalsand added 22 assists for Bishop Dwenger while leading the Saints tofour consecutive conference championships.  She was namedAll-State twice and All-Conference and All-Region threetimes.  She is a member of the Indiana ODP State team and hasbeen held over for Region II Camp each of the last two years. As a senior Casaburo was honored as Academic All-State and was anNSCAA Regional Scholar All-American.  A member of the NationalHonor Society, Casaburo is the daughter of James-who played soccerat Michigan State-and Shari Casaburo. She also has a youngerbrother, Thomas, and plans on studying education, psychology, orsports science.
