Alec Olsen

Olsen joined Justin Haire’s staff as the Director of Offensive Development in November 2021. 

“We are excited to welcome Alec into our program.” Coach Haire said. “He came highly recommended for his work ethic and passion for the game of baseball and player development. We look forward to having those characteristics go into the daily investment of our players’ growth.”

Prior to joining the Campbell staff, Olsen served as an assistant coach at Bakersfield Baseball Academy in Bakersfield, Calif. for two years. During that time he also worked as an assistant strength coach at GrindHaus Strength and Conditioning. 

Olsen had a lengthy collegiate playing career as a middle infielder that began at Phoenix College (Phoenix, Ariz.) from 2015-17 where he helped the Bears reach the D2 Juco NJCAA World Series. He then played at Taft College (Taft, Calif.) from 2017-18, and rounded out his career at Post University (Waterbury, Conn.) from 2018-20 where he graduated with a degree in sports management. 

Olsen is originally from Bakersfield, Calif. and now resides in Buies Creek.
