Elizabeth Homan joined the Campbell University Student-Athlete Support department in July 2017 as an academic coordinator and was promoted to Assistant Director in July 2021. Homan serves as secondary sport administrator for baseball, swimming, and women’s soccer, and coordinator for the Campbell Athletics Summer Bridge transition program, which she helped establish in 2018.

Homan began her career in college athletics as an assistant volleyball coach in 2013 at her alma mater, Duquesne University. In 2016, she made the transition to academics serving as an assistant academic counselor at the University of Memphis.

A two-time graduate of Duquesne University, Homan earned a bachelor’s degree in integrated marketing communications and a master’s in sports leadership. As a student-athlete, she was a four-year starter on the Dukes’ volleyball team, earning All-Atlantic 10 honors all four seasons. Homan also garnered AVCA Division I All-American honors. Following college, she played a season of professional volleyball for Lyon Saint-Fons Volley in Lyon, France.

Homan is a 2019 graduate of the N4A Steve McDonnell Professional Development Institute (PDI) – New Practitioner track and a 2022 graduate of Women Leaders in College Sports Institute for Advancement.
