2007-08: Redshirted to retain his year of eligibility...part of the 2007 recruiting class ... played in the inaugural Orange-Black game.

 

Prep: A two-year varsity football letterwinner at Harnett Central High School...played center his junior and senior seasons leading school to a combined 21-1 record and a pair of conference championships...named all-conference following his senior seasons... received the Coaches Award his junior and senior years...also lettered in track & field.

 

Personal: Full name is Brent Matthew Longmire...born 6/19/89 in Raleigh, N.C...son of Renee and Robert Longmire...has two younger siblings, Ryan and Kaitlyn...father played was a tight end at North Carolina State from 1979-83...majoring in pharmacy.
