2007-08: Redshirted to retain his year of eligibility...part of the 2007 recruiting class... recorded three tackles in the inaugural Orange-Black game.

 

Prep: A three-year varsity football letterwinner at Fuquay-Varina...named honorable mention all-conference his senior year finishing fourth on the team with over 50 tackles and six sacks...helped Bengals to a pair of conference titles (2005, 06) and an 18-9 record over those years...played defensive end, linebacker and fullback during his career ...finished his varsity career with 125 tackles and 14.5 sacks...also lettered in track (all-conference) and wrestling (all-state, all-region, all-conference)...won the North Carolina 4A State Championship at 215 pounds.

 

Personal: Full name is Douglas Chad McDuffie ...born 12/1/88 in Raleigh, N.C. ...son of Vivan and Ernest McDuffie ...has two older siblings, Sarita and Ernest...majoring in sports management.
