2007-08: Redshirted to retain his year of eligibility ... part of the 2007 recruiting class ... played in the inaugural Orange-Black game ... will battle for the starting tight end position this fall.

 

Prep: A three-year letterwinner at Fayetteville Christian Academy...two-time All-Conference playing quarterback and defensive end...completed 74-of-162 passes for 1452 yards and 16 touchdowns; totaled 38 tackles and seven sacks his senior season...for his career, threw for 3,906 yards with 41 touchdowns; ran for 313 yards with 12 touchdowns; made 83 tackles and 10 sacks...named all-state following his junior year...honorable mention all-conference his sophomore campaign...also lettered in baseball for the Warriors.
