Career: Played four years of basketball at Campbell…he participated in 117 games (fourth most in school history) and totaled 679 points and 408 rebounds…his final season he started 27 games and averaged 8.3 points and 5.3 rebounds in a game and shot .518 (fifth in the Atlantic Sun)…named one of the team’s co-captains…earned a scholarship in basketball his sophomore year after playing his first collegiate athlete as a recruited walk-on…scored in double digits 25 times in his career.                                        

Prep:  Played four years of football at Camden County…caught 53 passes for 940 yards and was named team MVP as a senior…had college offers in three sports (football, basketball, baseball)…three-time all-conference and Daily News all-area performer in basketball…averaged 17 points and 10 rebounds as a senior in leading Camden County to its third-straight sectional championship…two-time conference player of the year…played in in the 2007 North Carolina-South Carolina All-Star game…scored 1,279 points and pulled down 762 rebounds and led Camden County to a 65-24 record plus two conference titles in his three-year varsity career…also named all-state in baseball as a pitcher when Camden County reached 1-A state championship game

Personal: Full name is Preston Todd Dodson … born 5/23/89 in Burlington, N.C…son of Leigh and Phillip Dodson has three siblings: Weston, Lofton and Karaleigh…graduated with his degree in business administration and is now working on his master’s degree.
