Prior to Campbell: Began his college career at the New Mexico State University, where he redshirted during the 2007 season ... after high school attended Hargrave Prep where he recorded 65 tackles and seven sacks.

 

Prep: Attended Radford High School (Hawai’i), where he was a two-time all-state selection ... was selected to the 2005 West Region All-American team and made the Senior Bowl ... finished his senior season with 115 tackles, 18 sacks, six forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries and 33 tackles for loss...recorded 19 sacks as a junior...a three-time first team all-league defensive end, he finished his career with 262 tackles, 96 tackles for loss, 19 forced fumbles 15 fumble recoveries, three blocked punts and 44.5 sacks...also lettered in track and field, where he was a state qualifier in both the long jump and high jump
