2007-08: Redshirted to retain his year of eligibility ...one of the original members of the 2006 recruiting class ... had four tackles in the inaugural Orange-Black game ...positioned himself to be a starter at strongside linebacker this fall.

 

Prep: A two-year varsity football letterwinner at West Craven High School...named All-Conference, All-Area and Team MVP following his senior season after catching six touchdowns and grabbing six interceptions...named All-Conference and All-Area after his junior campaign...tallied 18 career touchdowns and 15 interceptions, returned three interceptions for touchdowns...also played basketball for the Eagles.

 

Personal: Full name is Raheim Jamar Ellison...born 8/5/86...son of Angela Lindsey... has two older siblings, Jakime and Laquita...sister Laquita played basketball at Warren Wilson College...majoring in exercise science.
