Ali Dougherty

Ali Dougherty joined Campbell in 2024 as an Academic Coordinator, and is currently serving the football and lacrosse programs. Dougherty provides academic support and NCAA eligibility monitoring for both teams.

Her background includes middle school teaching in both North Carolina and Delaware, where she led classrooms in a variety of STEM subjects and built strong relationships with students and families.
 
Dougherty has a strong foundation in athletics. She was a student-athlete and team captain on the women’s lacrosse team at Wilmington University and later coached varsity field hockey and lacrosse, as well as serve for over a decade as a certified women’s lacrosse official. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Middle Level Education from Wilmington University and is certified in multiple content areas and educational technologies.
 
Doughterty currently resides in Willow Spring, North Carolina, with her husband and their two children. She is passionate about creating meaningful connections, fostering growth in others, and balancing her professional life with the joy of raising a young family.
