Prior to Campbell, Knight worked as the head athletic trainer and assistant professor in the Health and Physical Education Department at Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Mich. for three years. While at Hillsdale College with a staff of only two certified athletic trainers, Knight worked primarily with the football, men’s basketball, and softball teams but covered all the other sports regularly.

Knight got her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Olivet College in Olivet, Mich. As an undergrad at Olivet, Knight served as the football equipment manager and student athletic trainer while participating as a student-athlete on the softball and basketball teams. She also had the opportunity to be one of the athletic trainers for the Michigan Cadet National Wrestling Camp during the summer.
Knight is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Great Lakes Athletic Trainers’ Association, Michigan Athletic Trainer’s Society, Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers Association, and is an American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED instructor.
