2007-08: Redshirted to retain his year of eligibility...part of the 2007 recruiting class ... completed 11 passes for 149 yards in the inaugural Orange-Black game.

 

Prep: A four-year varsity football letterwinner at West Florence High School...named to the High School Sports Report Top 100 Seniors list ...named all-region, all-zone and all-conference his junior and senior years...threw for a school record 1,923 yards and 12 touchdowns his senior year, also completed 55% of his pass attempts...also holds the school record with 4,334 career passing yards, 372 passing yards in a game and three touchdown passes in a game...finished his career with 29 passing touchdowns to go along with his record passing yards.
