2024: Named All-CAA Honorable Mention at the end of the regular season ... Appeared in 46 games, making 44 starts along the infield ... Slashed .297/.396/.510 with six home runs, 13 doubles, a triple, and 36 RBI ... Was one of four Camels to steal 10+ bags ... Tied for third on the team with 46 hits ... Had a season-high three hits against UNCW (5/3) ... Had season-highs three runs scored and three RBI against Bucknell (3/10).

Previous School: Played four years at Youngstown State and coach Dan Bertolini … Started all 110 games over his junior and senior seasons … Was named first team All-Horizon League as a junior and made the second team as a senior … Ranks 11th in program history with 18 career home runs and 17th with 100 RBI … Career .363 batting average and .487 slugging percentage … Had a team-high 108 total bases in 2023 … Also had hit-streaks of seven and eight games … Safely reached base in 15-straight games … Batted .339 with RISP … Had a fielding percentage of .915 while starting all 53 games at third base in 2023. 

Prep: Played at Poland under coach Rich Murray … Was named first team all-conference in 2018 and 2019 … Also played basketball and scored over 1,000 points in his career … Was conference player of the year and all-state in 2018-19 in basketball.  

Personal: Full name is Braeden Michael O’Shaughnessy … Born November 19, 2000, in Youngstown, Ohio … Son of Mike and Kathy O’Shaughnessy … Has one brother, Pad, who also played baseball at Youngstown State from 2020-23.
