Alex Hill joined the Campbell staff as the director of basketball operations in May 2025.
Hill comes to Campbell following a season as a graduate assistant at Waynesburg (DIII), and previously worked as a student manager at Washington State.
Hill served as an assistant coach last season at Waynesburg. The Yellow Jackets were led by Antone Baker’s 16.3 points per game.
Hill spent the previous three seasons as a men’s basketball team manager at Washington State under head coach Kyle Smith. The Cougars made an NCAA Tournament appearance as a No. 7 seed in 2023-24 and defeated Drake to advance to the round of 32. Washington State made consecutive National Invitational Tournament appearances in 2021-22 and 2023-23 and reached the NIT semifinals in Madison Square Garden in 2023.
Hill served as the Cougars’ head manager and led the program’s film operation. He contributed to all facets of team operations and played a key role in individual player development. He worked closely with NBA draft picks Mouhamed Gueye (Charlotte Hornets) and Jaylen Wells (Memphis Grizzlies), as well as Isaac Jones, who signed a two-way contract with the Sacramento Kings.
Hill received the NBA Summer League Scholarship in 2023 and served as an NBA Summer League Intern in Las Vegas in 2023 and 2024. While in Vegas he served as a game operations lead and assisted with fan engagement.
Hill graduated from Washington State’s Murrow College of Communication in May 2024, and received his MBA in program management from Waynesburg in 2025.
