Campbell graduate Nick Parker joined the Fighting Camels as Director of Player Development in October 2021 after serving two years at Triton High School as an EC Teaching Assistant and Varsity Boy’s Basketball Assistant Coach.
 
Parker’s responsibilities include logistical coordination for the Camels program along with film breakdown, on-campus recruiting, travel arrangements and game day management.
 
“Nick was a building block of this program as a player,” said head coach Kevin McGeehan.  “He is well respected, both in the athletics department and on campus for his work ethic.  He is a perfect fit for us.  Nick appreciates Campbell University and that shows in his many quality relationships.
 
During his three-year playing career at Campbell, Parker earned Big South Conference Presidential Honor Roll status three times.  He also was a member of Fighting Camel clubs that secured back-to-back postseason berths for the first time in the program’s NCAA Division I (since 1977-78) era.
 
Parker was a member of Campbell’s 2017 Big South tournament runner-up squad that reached the quarterfinals of the CollegeInsider.com (CIT) postseason tournament.  As a senior, he helped CU advance to the semifinal round of the College Basketball Invitational (CBI).
 
He graduated from Campbell in 2018 with a degree in sport management.  He earned his master’s in sports management from Western Carolina University in 2019.
