Career:  Returns to action and will compete for minutes at point guard after missing last season with knee injury… Excellent defender and leader…

2005-06: Missed the season while recovering from knee surgery…

2004-05: Missed final two games of freshman year with knee injury that required surgery (ACL) to repair... Played in 23 games (8 starts), averaging 1.5 assists in 11.8 minutes per outing... Shot 78.6% (22-28) from the foul stripe...  Reached season-highs of 7 points and 4 rebounds in 27 minutes at Belmont (2/19)... Matched season-high with 5 assists at Georgia State (1/15)... Made first career start vs. Lipscomb (1/5) and hit season highs of 5 assists and 22 minutes... Matched then-season best with 4 points at Kentucky (12/29)...  Had 4 points in 19 minutes at Tennessee (12/23)...

Prep:  A two-year starter and three-year letter winner at Monsignor Pace High School… Led his club to the state 3-A championship as a junior and a 60-11 record over his final two seasons… As a senior, averaged 10 points and eight assists per game and led Pace to a 27-6 record and second-straight berth in the Florida 3-A Final Four...  Honorable mention all-state performer and third-team All-Dade County selection in 2003-04… In his junior campaign, averaged 13 points, seven rebounds and four assists per game, when he was a third-team all-state choice and second-team All-Dade pick…  The 2002-03 Monsignor Pace squad went 33-5 and defeated Orlando Jones High School 49-48 in the state final... During his sophomore year (2001-02), Pace went 24-10 and advanced to the 3-A Elite Eight…

Personal:  Originally signed with Florida International during the 2003-04 early recruitment period, but was released from his NLI after a coaching change at the school… Selected Campbell after considering Georgia Southern, Northeastern, Southern Methodist, Jacksonville, Florida Atlantic and Troy State… Has two siblings, Sterling (15) and Sheena (10)…
