U.S. U-20 National Team:  Called up to U.S. U-20 National Team camp in the spring of 2006…

2005:  Named second-team Freshman All-American by College Soccer News... Named second-team All-South Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America... Unanimous choice as A-Sun Freshman of the Year... Also named first-team all-conference and to the A-Sun All-Freshman and All-Tournament teams... Earned a place on Atlantic Sun All-Academic team… Shared team’s Jim McVeigh Award (outstanding freshman) with Aaron Johnson... Also selected for All-State team by North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association…2nd-leading freshman scorer in the country with 32 points on 13 goals and 6 assists in 19 games (1.68 ppg)... Ranked 16th in the nation in points per game (1.68) and 18th nationally in goals per game (0.68)… Started each game, except College of Charleston (10/26) when he sat out due to accumulated cautions... Finished 3rd among A-Sun leaders in points per game and assists, 4th in points and goals, and 5th in assists per game... Had six game-winning goals in ‘05 (1st in the league), plus the assist on game-winners vs. #23 Davidson and Gardner-Webb... Scored winners vs. Marshall (9/3), #25 UNC Wilmington (9/24), Jacksonville (9/29), Belmont (10/13), Lipscomb (10/15), Florida Atlantic (11/11)... Twice named A-Sun Offensive Player of the Week during 2005...

U.S. U-18 National Team:  Has made five appearances, including two starts, with the United States U-18 National Team… Called up in January ’05 for Copa Chivas Youth Tournament Guadalajara, Mexico… Came on as a substitute during the U-18s’ 3-2 victory over Holland... 

Prep/Personal: Sonny Alejandro Guadarrama is the younger brother of CU junior Willy Guadarrama… Named to the 2004 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/adidas® Youth Boys All-America Team… Campbell’s first men’s soccer All-America signee since Juha Miettinen (1987)… Also named to 2005 PARADE All-America High School Boys Soccer Team… A member of the South Texas Olympic Development team for the past six years and Region 3 ODP squad the last four seasons… Named to the 2004 adidas ESP All-Star team… Selected among the Top-150 Youth Soccer Players by Soccer America and named among 2005’s top 100 recruits by studentsports.com… Tabbed Player of the Year for his club team, the highly-regarded Austin United Capitals, in both 2002 and 2003…  He has also played for the Austin Lightning of the United Soccer Leagues (U-23) Premier Development League the past three summers (2004-06)… Scored 32 goals and assisted on 15 others in his senior year at Cedar Park High School… Finished his four-year prep career with 101 goals and 48 assists, both Cedar Park school records… Born Mar. 27, 1987 in Austin, Texas… Sport management major…
