Head Coach Ronny Fisher and Campbell Women’s Basketball have announced the addition of Blair Estarfaa as an assistant coach.

“I am incredibly excited and honored to be joining the Campbell University Women’s Basketball program,” Estarfaa said. “This is a special opportunity to grow both on and off the court, and I’m ready to contribute to a culture of excellence, hard work and team-first mentality. I can’t wait to Sweat and Serve for the Campbell community. My family and I are ready to roll!”

A New York native, Estarfaa comes to Campbell after spending the previous two seasons as Head Coach for the Buffalo State Bengals women’s basketball team.

“I have enjoyed getting to know Blair during the interview process,” Fisher said. “He is a quality person and great communicator who loves the culture of hard work and service that our players and coaches have established at Campbell.”

Prior to his time at Buffalo State, Estarfaa worked on the staff at Syracuse University for the 2022-23 season. While there, he served as the Video Coordinator and Director of Player Personnel. In that season, the Orange went 20-13, including a 75-67 win over #14/16 North Carolina and wins over Kent State and Seton Hall in the WNIT.

Estarfaa worked on staff at the University of Buffalo for the previous three years. He served as the Director of Operations in 2019-20 before being promoted to assistant coach in the summer of 2020. At UB, he primarily worked with the backcourt players and the development of MAC All-Freshman Team member Cheyenne McEvans and All-MAC First Team and All-Defensive team member Dyaisha Fair.

“With coaching stops at basically every level of the game, Blair also brings tremendous experience to our staff,” Coach Fisher said. “He will assist in every aspect of the program while working closely with our wings and small forwards on the court.”

Before working at Buffalo, Estarfaa spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Daemen College. The Wildcats had a magical season in 2018-19 as they compiled a 24-6 overall record, the most victories in the program's NCAA Division II era, while capturing the program's second ECC regular season title and earning them a berth in the NCAA Division II East Region Championships for the first time in program history.

Estarfaa worked closely with redshirt sophomore Andrew Sischo who was named East Region Player of the Year after leading the team in scoring (20.9 ppg) and rebounding (10.1 rpg).

Prior to his time at Daemon, Estarfaa served as an assistant coach at Alfred University in 2016-17.

Estarfaa is a graduate of SUNY Cortland and three-year member of the men's basketball team. He captained the 2015-16 team to a 21-8 record and a State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) title. He earned first team All-SUNYAC honors and second team all-district honors as a senior after averaging a team-high 15.4 points.

In his three seasons at Cortland, Estarfaa scored 969 career points in 80 games (12.1 points per game) and shot 40 percent from 3-point range (183-of-457). He earned his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science / Sport Studies from Cortland.

Estarfaa was a standout at Maryvale High School in Cheektowaga, N.Y. As a senior he averaged 25 points a game and collected fifth team Class A all-state honors. He was also named second team All-Western New York and ECIC III Player of the Year following his senior year.

Fisher concluded, “We are excited to welcome Blair, his wife, Kallie, son, Oakland, and daughter, Coast, to our Campbell Women’s Basketball Family!”
