Prep: Played at Frisco Wakeland High School for head coach Ally Cobb… Helped her team to a 127-26 overall record in four years, including the 5A state championship as a junior in 2024… All-district first-team in 2023… District defensive player of the year, 5A state all-tourney team, and team defensive MVP in 2024… Wakeland’s all-time digs leader with 1,847 career digs… Averaged 4.7 digs/set as a senior and 5.0 digs/set for her career… Played club for the Frisco Flyers… 

Personal: Born April 16, 2008… Parents are Frank Fernandez and Leslie Thompson, and has a brother, Brendan… Dad played college football and mom played college basketball… Member of National Honor Society all four years… Intends to pursue a nursing degree…
