GA. -- Omar Liendo scored the game's only goal in the 27th minute
and Mercer defeated Campbell 1-0 Saturday night in Atlantic Sun
Conference men's soccer action at Bear Field.
Mercer (3-7-1, 1-1-0 A-Sun) keeper Roberto Cronenbold made four
saves to earn the shutout. Aaron Johnson had four stops in the nets
for the Camels (4-5-1, 0-1-1 A-Sun), who saw their three-match
unbeaten string come to a close.
Each team finished with 12 shots. Campbell returns to action on
Thursday in a 7:00 p.m. kick-off at home against Jacksonville.
