Camels End Skid, Defeat Eagles

DURHAM, N.C. – The Campbell University baseball team defeated the Eagles of North Carolina Central on Wednesday at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park by a score of 15-1. The win improves Campbell's overall record to 9-6 and ends a five game losing streak. NC Central drops to 3-6 on the season.

Ryan Hamme (Wilmington, N.C.), Brian Gana (Richland, Wash.), Ellis Lowe (San Diego, Calif.) and Kevin Nelson (Sunrise, Fla.) all had a productive day at the dish. Hamme, Gana, and Nelson finished the day batting 2-of-4, while combining for five RBI and five runs scored. Brian Gana hit his first home run of the season. Gana's two run bomb cleared the blue monster in left field at the DBAP. Lowe finished the day 2-of-5, with four RBI and two runs scored.
