Quotes

Campbell head coach Mike Minter
On the team's performance against Missouri Baptist…
"It's always great to send the seniors, and especially Dr. Wallace, out with a victory. To celebrate those guys for the last time on this field with them, it's really great. I thought our team came out focused and we did everything we needed to do to win the football game. What I've talked about is being professional; come out here, do what you do and don't act like it's a surprise. I thought the defense played really well until that one run they had for a touchdown. Offensively, we had a couple of miscues in the first half, but in the second half we looked sharp. You take your hat off to all these guys; they worked hard this week and played a great game."

Redshirt senior quarterback Dakota Wolf
On the turn around of the program this season…
"We made a conscious effort this summer when we were all here working out together to really come together as a team and a family. When you have a goal like that, that is, working towards one bigger goal, it makes it easier."

Senior center Dalton Brown
On senior day...
"Everyone played really well. It was just a great day all around with it being senior day and having my whole family here."

Senior linebacker Luke Hill
On Campbell's fan support…
"When we come out we know are fans are going to be here for us and be behind us no matter what happens. For our fans to give us that respect each and every week, it means a lot."

Redshirt senior offensive lineman Will Sawyer
On his time at Campbell...
"It's really meant a lot. It's just a blessing to have been here for four and a half years and wherever I go next in life, it's going to be with me."

Redshirt senior wide receiver Jabri Ridenhour
On scoring a TD on senior day...
"It was actually on my last play here also, so I think it's probably the best way to go out…it felt special."

Redshirt sophomore running back Akile Jones
On his big day…
"It felt great. It reminded me of high school. Breaking free and getting into the open field is what I love the most."
