DeLAND, FLA. – Campbell kept Stetson out of the end zone and limited the Hatters to just 183 yards of total offense in a 16-6 road win Saturday at Spec Martin Stadium.

Campbell (4-3, 2-2 Pioneer Football League) earned its first road win of the 2015 season, downing Stetson (1-5, 0-4 PFL) for the second time in two trips to DeLand (won 19-18 in 2013). Campbell's defense held an opponent without a touchdown for the second time this season, also limiting Chowan in a 35-3 week two meeting in Buies Creek.

Stetson managed just 38 yards or total offense in the second half, with Campbell totaling five sacks and 11 tackles for loss in the win.

The Hatters led 6-3 at the half on a pair of Grant Amick field goals, one on Stetson's first possession and another with 50 seconds remaining in the second quarter.

Mitchell Brown evened the game at three-all at the 7:21 mark of the second quarter, set up by Kameron Bryant passes to Trey Sanders, good for 28 yards, and De'Shawn Jones, 12 yards.

On its first possession of the second half, Campbell used an 11 play, 73 yard drive to take its first lead of the afternoon, capped off by a one yard Jones TD run.

After a short six play possession for Stetson, Bryant connected with Damon Simmons down the home sideline for a 72 yard touchdown, giving Campbell a 10-point cushion in the third. The pass was a season-long for the Camels, tying the team's longest play from scrimmage (De'Shawn Jones rush, at Butler).

Campbell controlled the ball for 10:23 in the fourth quarter, limiting Stetson to two possessions and 16 yards in the frame. Austin Fleming ran for 70 yards on three carries in the quarter, including runs of 33 and 16 yards on CU's final drive, allowing the Camels to run out the clock.

Fleming ended the day with 74 yards rushing and 45 receiving, totaling 119 all-purpose yards. De'Shawn Jones ran for 55 yards and a score, while Ricky Brown caught two passes for 38 yards. Bryant completed 14-of-24 passes for 193 yards, a touchdown and an interception.

Stetson quarterback Ryan Tentler completed 8-of-23 passes for 95 yards, also rushing for 37. Ja'Vonta Swinton hauled in two passes for 51 yards.

Ugonna Awuruonye totaled six tackles, including 1.5 for loss and a sack, while Jack Ryan added five stops, 3.5 tackles for loss and a sack. Jake Barr also picked up five tackles for the Camels, with 2.5 tackles for loss and a sack.
