Get To Know: Summer Price

Summer Price is a senior guard from Beaverdam, Va., and has been a four-year member of the women's basketball program. She started 30 games in 2017 and paced the Camels with 30.6 minutes and 13.4 points per game. She scored a career-high 26 points against Western Carolina on Dec. 14, 2015. Price was a Big South all-freshman team member in 2014-15 and earned second team honors last season.

Why did you decide to play basketball? It's competitive and fun.
Who was your biggest influence growing up? Why? My parents
Did you play other sports growing up? If so, what sports? Soccer
What is your favorite memory during your playing career? I have played a long time and there are too many to just pick one.
If you could play with one professional player (former or current), who would it be? Michael Jordan
Which professional athlete would you like to meet the most? Why? Tom Brady. He's great, extremely competitive and wins a lot
You are picking a team for a 3v3 game, who would be on your team? My dad and mom
 What is something you do when you are not playing basketball? Hanging out with friends or go home
What is something your teammates may not know about you? They know everything. We've had bonding moments to share those kind of things.
What is the best piece of advice you have received during your playing career? "Play Your Game"
