JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – Campbell claimed three top-10 finishes to highlight day two of the ETSU Indoor Track & Field Invitational inside the David E. Walker Track at Gentry Field on Saturday.
"The freshmen and newcomers gained valuable experience this weekend that will help them to continue to develop as the season goes on," said jumps coach

Darius Prescott posted his first collegiate mark in the high jump, clearing the 1.93m bar to place fifth in a field of 25 competitors. This mark ties his lifetime best clearance in the high jump, which he originally set during his senior year of high school at DeSoto High School in DeSoto, Texas.

Brooks tied her season-best time of 7.82s in the 60m to finish second in her heat and claim sixth place overall. The Winston-Salem, N.C., native concluded her weekend in the 200m final, clocking in at a season-best of 25.31s to place sixth.
Carrie Baker kicked off the day's events with the pole vault, where she cleared the 3.15m bar in her first meet for the Fighting Camels. Her mark, which is just 0.05m off of her PR in the event, earned her a 17th place finish.
Deja Reid had a best mark of 4.87m in the long jump to finish in 26th place at ETSU on Saturday afternoon. This is her second time competing in the long jump in 2017-18, after posting a mark of 5.17m at the UNCG Early Bird Duals on Dec. 3.
