Dupree runs in 200m quarterfinals

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. - Mekhi Dupree finished a few spots shy of national qualifying in the men's 200m quarterfinals. Dupree finished 18th with a time of 20.59.

After finishing second in his heat Wednesday night to punch a ticket to the quarterfinals, Dupree shaved 0.27 seconds off of Wednesday's time in Friday night's race.

The Pensacola, Fla. native ran in the second of three heats Saturday night, finishing fifth in the heat and 0.35 seconds outside of an automatic qualifying top three spot.

Dupree was the Camels' final participant at the NCAA East Regional.
