BUIES CREEK, NC ­- Campbell women's tennis opens the 2018 spring season Saturday, January 20 in Richmond, VA at the VCU 4-1 Invitational. The Camels are set to take on Drexel at 11:00 AM followed by a matchup with VCU at 3:00 PM.
 
Campbell enters the season after being picked to finish fourth in the Big South Conference as voted on by the coaches.
 
The Camels are led by 2017 first team all-conference honoree Alexandra Andrivot. Andrivot claimed first team honors after tallying 12 wins a season ago including a win in the Big South Quarterfinal against Liberty.
 
Andrivot paired with junior Isabel Boada to claim second team all-conference honors after posting a team-high 10 wins in doubles action.
 
Drexel also opens its spring season on Friday, January 19 against VCU. The Rams opened their spring schedule with a 5-2 loss to Florida Atlantic Sunday, January 14.
