KSU return specialist Isaac Foster was voted Special Teams Player of the Year and Owls head coach Brian Bohannon was selected Coach of the Year. Burks was also voted the football Scholar-Athlete of the Year by the league's sports information directors.
Snead, named a finalist for the STATS FCS Jerry Rice Award on Monday, becomes the second Camel to be named first team all-conference as a freshman, joining former linebacker Milton Brown (2008, Pioneer Football League). The wide receiver was named to the Jerry Rice Award's initial watch list in October, one of 15 nationally. The CU rookie was named Big South Freshman of the Week four times this season and is a two-time STATS Honorable Mention Freshman honoree.
A Lynchburg, Va. native, Snead's 810 receiving yards and nine TD catches lead all FCS freshmen and rank second among all Big South receivers, and his 18.0 yards per catch is a league best. Snead's nine TDs ties a Big South freshman record, while 810 yards, nine touchdowns and 45 receptions are all Campbell rookie records.
Dennis averaged a school record 43.2 yards per punt in 2018, a Big South best, and ranking 10
th in the FCS. The Cambridge, Md. native totaled 19 punts inside the 20 with 10 kicks of 50 or more yards and eight fair catches. His 19 punts inside the 20 are a Campbell single-season record.
Dennis was named Big South Special Teams Player of the Week once this season after a win over Shaw, punting three times for a 46.3 yards per average, pinning the Bears inside the 20 twice. He capped his stellar season with five punts, pinning four inside the Charleston Southern 20 in week 12, averaging 42.2 yards per boot with a long of 59 yards. Dennis is the second Campbell punter to earn first team all-conference honors following Adam Lutz in 2014 (PFL).
Blockmon, a redshirt senior, posted 580 yards on 42 catches with three touchdowns in 2018, ranking fifth in the Big South in receptions per game, fourth in receiving yards, sixth in reception TDs and fourth in yards per catch. Campbell's all-time leader in receiving yards (2,647), receptions (147), reception TDs (23), total touchdowns scored (25), Blockmon posted snagged a career-high nine catches at Monmouth, adding 76 yards, also returning a kickoff for a touchdown at Presbyterian. Blockmon is now a four-time all-conference pick (2015: honorable mention All-PFL, 2016: first team, 2017: second team).
Littleton started seven games at left tackle before missing three of the team's final five games due to injury. The redshirt senior helped Campbell rank ninth nationally in sacks allowed, clearing the way for six individual 100-yard rushing games. Littleton aided Campbell to the Big South's second-ranked passing offense, standing No. 2 in pass completions, passing yards and pass touchdowns, as well as third-ranked totals in scoring offense, touchdowns, total offense, rush yards and rush TDs. He was also named Second Team All-PFL in 2017.
In his first season in Buies Creek, Dozier was named Big South Defensive Player of the Week (9/10) with a forced fumble, 2.0 stops for loss, 1.0 sack and four total tackles in a win at Georgetown. The Big South leader in tackles for loss (11.5) and third in sacks (3.5), Dozier ranked fourth in the Big South in tackles by a defensive lineman. He was one of six Big South players to force two fumbles in 2018, and recorded at least one tackle for loss six times.
Ryan, a Preseason All-Big South selection, ranked fourth in the Big South in tackles (89) and TFLs (8.5), while standing third in sacks (3.5). The redshirt senior was named STATS FCS and Big South Defensive Player of the Week (10/1) after posting a season-high 15 tackles, 3.0 stops for loss and a sack in a win over North Alabama. He is Campbell's career leader with 321 tackles and 36.5 stops for loss, adding 9.5 sacks.
Dozier and Ryan helped hold Campbell opponents without an offensive TD four times in 2018, and without a first half touchdown six times.
Wooten, Campbell's starter at tight end over the last 21 consecutive games, posted 13 catches for 73 yards on the season. The redshirt junior caught at least one pass in six games, snagging a season-best three catches twice (Coastal Carolina, Gardner-Webb). He helped Campbell rush for 150 or more yards five times and total more than 400 yards of total offense four times. He is a kinesiology major (pre-physical therapy).
Campbell finished 2018 at 6-5 overall and 1-4 in its inaugural Big South season. With six wins, the Camels secured back-to-back winning seasons for the first time in the program's modern era (since 2008), and tied an overall program record for victories.
