BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Campbell's match against Charleston Southern has been moved up to an 11:00 a.m. start time to avoid rain conditions later in the day. The match was originally scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
Campbell (7-6, 3-1 Big South) is coming off a 7-0 sweep over Presbyterian on Saturday for the Camels' third conference win and third sweep of the season. Four different Camels claimed their third conference win in singles action over the Blue Hose to push their record to 3-1 on the season.
Alexandra Andrivot picked up her third conference victory at No. 2 with a 6-4, 6-4 win while
Ana Castillo clinched a 6-1, 7-5 win at No. 1.
Isabel Boada notched a 6-3, 6-7, 10-8 win at No. 5 while
Georgina Segarra won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 6.
Charleston Southern (8-3, 4-0 Big South) is coming off a 5-2 win over Gardner-Webb on March 18 to remain perfect in Big South play.
Filippa Ericson has won five straight and holds a 7-3 overall record and a perfect 4-0 mark in conference play after a 6-1, 7-5, 10-5 win at No. 3.
Sophie Cloessner clinched the match for the Bucs at No. 1 with a 6-2, 6-3 win to push her record to a team best 7-2 overall and 4-0 in the Big South.
After Monday's match, Campbell hits the road to take on Winthrop on Saturday, March 24 with first serve set for 10:00 a.m. as a part of a double header alongside the men.
