LYNCHBURG, VA. – Sophomore
Khai McLin set the Campbell 100 meters record Wednesday at the Liberty Twilight.
McLin posted a time of 10.40 in the 100 meter finals, breaking the school record held by Marcus Thompson (10.42) from 2013. He placed third on the day. McLin tallied a 10.53 in Wednesday's preliminaries, topping his heat.
Meshack Kipruto picked up a win for the Camels in the men's 5000 meters with a time of 14:43.97.
Jacob Burgamy also took fifth with a personal best 15:28.52.
David Ward, meanwhile, collected a pair of top-3 finishes, posting a personal record 42.50 meter heave in the discus, and a 46.84 meter toss in the hammer throw, good for second.
The men's 4x400 meter relay squad posted another win for the Camels, with

Ka'Deem Wynn notching a 3:15.04, a Campbell season-best.
Kelvin Kirui finshed fourth in the men's 800 meters with a personal record 1:54.30, while
Graeme Fisher followed in fifth with a 1:54.81.
On the women's side,
Lize Botha won the 3000 meter steeplechase with a personal best 12:07.29, while
Roshae Jackson took third in the 800 meters with a time of 2:11.70.
Michaela Louw also notched a personal best in the women's 1500 meters with a 4:50.67 mark, finishing fifth.
Also registering personal records for the Camel men's team were

Trevon Compito (200 meters, 22.57),

The Big South Outdoor Championships run May 9-11 in High Point, N.C. The NCAA East Regionals begin on May 24 in Tampa, Fla.
