Ray Kraivixien shot one-under par through 36 holes of the REX Hospital Open held at the TPC Wakefield Plantation course in Raleigh, NC. The event is an annual tournament on the Web.com tour.
Kraivixien missed the cut (-3) by two shots but was five-under par for his final 25 holes including holing a six foot birdie putt on his final hole.
"Certainly I wanted to make the cut but I didn't, but I played decent. I know I have a good game and I learned from the two guys I played with today that I'm not that far off," said Kraivixien.
"I know I can be there [on tour] one day."
Kravaixien earned the a sponsor's exemption into the event after winning the Stitch Intercollegiate tournament in Cary, NC in April where he broke the school record for 18 holes shooting a 61 on day two of the three-day event.
