BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell women's basketball begins Big South Conference play with a Saturday afternoon match-up against the Presbyterian Blue Hose at 2 p.m.
For the second time under Ronny Fisher, Campbell enters conference play with an 8-3 record (2016-17); last season, the Camels entered conference play 7-4.
Top Camels
Shy Tuelle has the hot hand as of late, averaging 12.3 points over Campbell's previous three games. She has made 10-of-20 from beyond the arc over that stretch.
Through 11 games, Lauren Carter leads the Camels in scoring, averaging 9.2 points per game. Taya Bolden is CU's leading rebounder, pulling down just over eight boards per contest, while Hayley Barber leads Campbell with 32 assists (2.9 apg).

Campbell (8-3) is coming off a 93-46 victory over Columbia College (S.C.) last Sunday. The Camels tied a program record for single-game three-pointers by knocking down 15. Four Camels reached double-figures in the 47-point win: Tuelle (17), Lauren Carter (16), Taya Bolden (13) and Caroline Bowns (12).

The Camels and Blue Hose meet for the 16th time on Saturday as PC leads the all-time series 8-7. The two teams split last year's series, each winning on their own home court, while Campbell has won three of the previous four meetings.
