Camels announce 2025-26 non-conference schedule

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Fighting Camels have announced their non-conference schedule for the 2025-26 season, which features five home games and two MTEs across nearly two months of action.

"Our 2025-26 non-conference schedule is designed to challenge our team with great competition that will prepare us for the rigors of CAA play," Head Coach Ronny Fisher said. "We also want our players to enjoy exciting travel destinations with multiple game opportunities that will get us ready for quick turnaround games in the CAA Tournament. Finally, we are hosting quality opponents that our amazing fans will enjoy watching us compete against in Gore Arena. It's a very exciting non-conference schedule and we cannot wait for opening night November 3rd in New Orleans!"

The season kicks off Monday, November 3, as the Camels face Tulane in their aforementioned trip to New Orleans. The road trip continues with a matchup against Charlotte in the Queen City on Thursday, Nov. 6.

The first two home games follow, as the Camels play host to Virginia-Lynchburg on Nov. 9 and Western Carolina on Nov. 12.

A road game at Furman (Nov. 16) precedes a trip to Chicago to participate in the DePaul MTE Nov. 21 and 22. CU plays Northern Colorado in the first game and then either DePaul or Grambling State on day two.

Campbell then heads to Jacksonville for the Osprey Thanksgiving Classic on Friday, Nov. 28 and Saturday, Nov. 29. The team will face off against North Dakota State on Friday before playing the hosts, North Florida, on Saturday.

A trio of home games against Mercer (December 3), Carolina University (Dec. 11) and Norfolk State (Dec. 15) follow for Campbell. That stretch is followed by a road trip to East Carolina on Dec. 21 to conclude the non-conference slate.

The Fighting Camels were 7-5 in last season's non-conference competition. Two teams, Western Carolina and Furman, repeat as opponents this year. The Camels defeated Furman by 10 at home, while the Catamounts came away with a one-point win in a back-and-forth battle in Cullowhee.

A promotional schedule and ticketing information will be provided as they become available. Kids 12 and under get in free to all Campbell Athletics home events.
