BUIES CREEK, N.C. – After a 2-0 weekend that included an upset win, Campbell's Andrew Morgan has been named the Southern Conference Wrestler of the Week.

Morgan remained perfect on the season while picking up Campbell's biggest individual win of the weekend, topping Pitt's Nino Bonaccorsi 11-8 on Saturday. Bonaccorsi was ranked No. 6 in the country at 184 pounds heading into the dual.

Morgan then posted a convincing 12-2 major decision victory over Mason Kroening at Ohio, moving to 6-0 on the season. A redshirt senior from Fountain Valley, Calif., Morgan was also the 184 pound Open Division Champion at the Southeast Open in his 2019-20 debut.

The 2019 NCAA Qualifier is the second Camel in as many weeks to be named SoCon Wrestler of the Week, joining Quentin Perez.

Next up for the Camels will be the Navy Classic on November 23.
