BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Campbell wrestling team wrapped up competition at the Southern Conference Wrestling Championships on Saturday at Kimmel Arena on the campus of UNC Asheville.

Sawyer Van Rider led the Camels with a third-place finish, going 3-1 in the tournament and battling through the consolation bracket to secure a podium spot.
Van Rider opened the day with a sudden-victory win in the consolation semifinals, then earned bronze with a 2-1 decision over Gardner-Webb's Josh McCutchen in the third-place match.
At 184 pounds, redshirt junior
Brant Cracraft advanced to the consolation finals after a 2-0 decision in the semifinals. He finished fourth after falling to Chattanooga's Landon Jones by technical fall in the third-place match.
