Campbell heads to Greenville to play ECU

BUIES CREEK, N.C.- The Camels are traveling to Greenville, N.C. tomorrow February 16 to play the East Carolina Pirates. The first serve is set for  1:00 p.m.
 
Campbell is coming off of a 7-0 comeback against NC Central this past week giving them their third win of the season. Their match against ECU will be a 2019 rematch from the Camel's 5-2 loss last year to the Pirates.

The Pirates are coming off of a 17-9 overall record for their 2017-2018 season and 3-6 in Conference play. They currently stand at 2-2 overall for their Spring season. ECU entered their 2018 Conference Championship as the No. 8 seed but later fell to Tulane, who was ranked at No. 9. Tulane won the match 4-3 to continue to the next round. The next day, Tulane fell to UCF in a 4-1 loss.

On January 18, the Pirates began their 2019 season with a  7-0 loss to NC State. Their second match of the season also resulted in a 7-0 shutout from UNC Chapel Hill. The season picked up for the Pirates with their first win of the season, a 4-1 win to beat Tulane, redemption from the 2018 championship loss. ECU clinched another win February 9 against Memphis, winning the match 4-2.
