Camels fall to the Pirates 7-0

Box Score GREENVILLE, N.C.- The ECU Pirates toppled the Camels today with a 7-0 sweep in Greenville, N.C. This loss places Campbell at 3-5 overall for the season.

Campbell vs. East Carolina
ECU claimed the doubles point early to kick off the match. Pirates double pair Celia Ruiz and Minette Van Vreden won the first doubles win to beat CU's Isabel Boada and Lucile Pons 6-1. ECU's Nastija Rettich and Hsia Ho Chiao paired to clinch the point and the lead at No. 2.

Alexandra Nicoara went three sets in singles action against ECU's M. Paladini-Jennings before falling to the Pirate 6-2, 4-6, 1-0. ECU claimed the rest of their singles matchups against the Camels to bring the final score to 7-0.
