BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell ran its men's tennis win streak to five matches Tuesday with a 6-1 victory over Duquesne at the Nisbet Center.
Dustin Werner and
Raphael Calzi stretched their win streak to five outings at the top spot and the Camels dropped only five games in sweeping the doubles point.
Werner, Calzi,
Bastien Huon,
Gerard Sola and
Ted Williams scored straight-sets singles victories for the Camels (6-3), who have not lost in a month.
Huon extended his singles win streak to six matches, while Calzi and Sola won their fifth in a row.
Jared Isaacs collected the lone point for the Dukes (5-7) with a 6-3, 6-1 win at the fifth position.
Over its five-match winning stretch, Campbell has claimed the doubles point all five times and dropped only three singles contests.
Campbell returns to action Wednesday with a 1 p.m. start at South Carolina State.
