BUIES CREEK, N.C. ­- After driving in driving in six runs and scoring three more over the past week, Claudia Ware has been named the Big South Freshman of the Week for the second time this season.
 
The rookie from Leonard, Tx. went 5-for-13 on the week to post a .385 average which featured six RBI and three runs scored of her own.
 
In the latter half of Saturday's doubleheader against Presbyterian, Ware went 3-for-4 with a walk, 4 RBI and two runs scored. Ware's final RBI of the day came on a triple down the right-field line before she came into score one batter later. 
 
The center fielder who has started in every game this season for the Camels was also named the league's Freshman of the Week on February 25.
 
Ware and the Camels currently sit in fourth place in the Big South Conference standings after a doubleheader sweep over Presbyterian this past weekend.
 
Campbell heads to NC State for a midweek matchup on Wednesday before taking a break for the final exam period. Campbell closes out the regular season May 3-4 by hosting Radford to determine the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds for the Big South Conference Tournament which will be hosted by Campbell in Buies Creek, N.C. May 8-11.
