BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Jessica Donald dished out two assists and four separate Camels scored as Campbell closed out non-conference play with a 4-0 win over Wofford Sunday afternoon at Eakes Athletics Complex.
Freshman
Amber Liston also scored and added an assist on the day.
Donald fed
Alexa Genas who weaved through traffic via a spin move and finished for the opening score in the 17
th minute.
Donald later distributed her team-leading seventh assist of the season to
Katie Lockwood who finished for the final score of the game in the 90
th minute.
In the 62
nd minute, Liston diverted two defenders and placed it in the back of the net past the diving keeper for the first goal of her career.
12 minutes later the rookie fed
Siara Southerland in the box who headed in her first goal of the season.
"It's really good when you get a shutout at home to wrap up non-conference play," said Campbell head coach
Samar Azem. "It is also great when you have a number of players scoring goals and getting assists."
Reaghan Duval picked up her fourth win of the season and tallied a combined shutout along side
Natalya Marcove. Duval recorded four saves across 78 minutes of action to total 33 on the season.
Campbell opens conference play Saturday against UNC Asheville at 2:00 p.m. at Eakes Athletics Complex.
