RADFORD, VA - Campbell held Radford to just 22 percent shooting from the field in route to a 43-32 win over the Highlanders for the Camels seventh straight win inside the Dedmon Center Tuesday night.
Campbell (14-5, 9-1 Big South) held Radford to just 22 percent shooting (11-of-50) from the field to mark the sixth time this season the Camels have held an opponent to under 30 percent shooting and under the 40 point mark.
Big South leading Campbell held Radford to just two first-quarter points as a part of just eight first-half points to set program records in both categories to jumpstart the dominant defensive night.
Just one game after the Highlanders (8-11, 6-4 Big South) scored a season-high 84 points the nation's leader in scoring defense, Campbell, held RU to just 32 points including 2-of-13 shooting from deep.
Campbell pushed its lead to as many as 23 with 7:10 remaining in the game, 37-14, but Radford answered with a 16-0 run to pull to within 37-30 with 50 seconds remaining.

Kianna Speight pushed the CU lead back up to 12, 42-30 with 28 ticks remaining before a jumper from Amele Ngwafang made it a 10 point Campbell cushion.
Kianna Speight led the way with 11 points followed by
Hayley Barber with nine points and boards.
Amele Ngwafang finished with 12 points for the Highlanders on 3-of-8 shooting followed by Jen Falconer who scored eight including a pair of triples in the final quarter.
Campbell's win streak of seven marks the second time in as many years the Camels have reached the feat and sits five games shy of the program record of 12 straight in the 2000-01 season. The 9-1 start in league play also marks the best start in conference play since the 2000-01 season.
Campbell returns to action Saturday at USC Upstate with tip-off set for 2:00 p.m.
