Box Score RADFORD, VA -- Campbell tabbed its fourth win over its last five games with a 6-1 victory over Radford to open Big South Conference play Saturday.

Campbell did not drop a point until the final court of the day to finish at No. 1. The Camels (6-2) open doubles play with a 6-3 win at No. 2 from partners Lucile Pons and Inma Pons before Ana Castillo and Lea Cutura clinched the doubles point with a 7-6 decision at No. 1. 

The reigning Big South Freshman of the Week opened singles play with a 6-3,6-0 sweep at No. 6 before Lucile Pons won in two sets 6-4, 7-5 at No. 4.

Lea Cutura claimed another two set win for the Camels with a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 2 followed by a 3-6, 6-1, 10-6 comeback win at No. 2 from Lou Regen. 

Alexandra Nicoara rounded out the winning ways with a 2-6, 6-2, 6-1 comeback win at No. 5.

Campbell returns to action on Thursday against Longwood at 10:00 a.m.
