WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Campbell track & field completed competition at the Camel City Invite led by two podium finishes from the men's and women's distance medley relay teams.
Shanley Koekemoer, Nascha Blue, Madelyn Rodriguez and Michaela Louw blazed to a second-place finish in the women's 4000m DMR with a time of 12:11.78 behind Troy and its time of 11:49.54.
Pace Clark, Graeme Fisher, Tyler Dollhausen, and Laderique McNeill took third-place in the men's 4000m DMR in a time of 10:14.67, behind squads from Charlotte (10:06.50) and Duke (10:07.81).Â
Nia Stevens set a new personal record time of 7.70 in the 60 meters, qualifying for the finals of the event. Stevens ran a time of 7.72, finishing seventh overall in the event finals.Â
On the men's sprints side, Daequon Carr and Reggie Barlow both qualified for the finals of the 60 meters after finishing within the top eight in the prelims. Carr took fourth-place in the finals of the event with a time of 6.87 while Barlow finished eighth in 6.92.
Athanas Kioko held his own in the men's 3000 meters race featuring professional and top collegiate runners. Kioko placed sixth overall and third among collegiate runners after finishing the race in 8:06.34.

BLACKSBURG, Va. - Three Camels set a new shot put personal records as a small contingent of Campbell throwers finished competition at the Doc Hale Elite Meet on the campus of Virginia Tech on Saturday.
Edelen broke his previous best in the shot put (13.70m) with a throw of 14.22m (46' 11.75") today.Â
Patience Marshall, Jenna Dankert, and Samantha Ennis all competed in the women's shot put event featuring some of the best throwers in the region. Marshall led with a 15.19m (49'10") mark followed by personal best throws from Dankert (14.42m / 47' 3.75") and Ennis (14.20m / 46' 7.25").
