BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Two of the most decorated players in Campbell history, Ashley Clark and
Alexa Genas, have been named to the Big South Conference Women's Soccer All-Decade team presented by Hercules Tires.
"It is fantastic to see these two players recognized on The Big South All Decade Team, both are extremely deserving of the distinguished privilege," said Campbell head coach Samar Azem. "They have both uniquely left a mark on the Big South Conference and Campbell University record books."
Women's Soccer All-Decade Team candidates were determined based on being at least one of the following: 1) Was a multiple All-Conference honoree; 2) Was named an All-American; 3) Is a member of the Big South Conference Hall of Fame; 4) Student-athletes must be a college graduate or in good academic standing with their respective institution; 5) Won a Conference Championship as a coach and/or was voted Conference Coach of the Year. Candidates that participated in two different decades were placed in a specific decade based on consultation from member institutions, and were listed under their primary position during their careers. Member institutions also had final determination in regards to inclusion of student-athletes and coaches. Previous Women's Soccer All-Decade Teams were recognized for the years 1993-99 and 2000-09.
"Alexa and Ashley are both incredibly talented players that have made an impressionable difference in the Big South Conference and in establishing our program as a top contender in the Big South," continued Azem. "They are both phenomenal leaders and incredible people who have paved away from our program to continue to build on an amazing legacy they've left behind. I am proud and happy for both as they continue their professional playing careers."

Ashley Clark (2011-2015) – Cary, N.C.
- Named the 2015 Big South Attacking Player of the Year
- Was named First Team All-Big South all four seasons as one of just two players in program history to do so alongside Alexa Genas
- Named National Soccer Coaches Association Second Team All-Region in 2015
- Sits tied for fourth all-time in the Big South in goals scored with 46
- Sits tied for fourth all-time in the Big South in points with 114
- Tied for first in Big South history in game-winning goals with 20
- Sits tied for second all-time in program history for career goals with 46
- Ranks fourth all-time in program history in assists with 22
- Ranks second in Campbell history in total points with 114
Alexa Genas (2016-2019) – Albuquerque, N.M.
- Two-time Big South Attacking Player of the Year (2017, 2019) to become the first player to garner the honor twice in program history and just the fifth player in league history to tab the honor multiple times
- Named to the 2019 United Soccer Coaches Association All-Southeast Region First Team to become just the second player in program history to do so
- Was named First Team All-Big South all four seasons as one of just two players in program history to do so alongside Ashley Clark
- Sits tied for fourth all-time in the Big South in goals scored with 46
- Ranks fifth all-time in league history in total points with 111
- Sits second in league history in penalty kick goals with six
- Tied for fourth in Big South history in game-winning goals with 13
- Sits tied for second all-time in program history for career goals with 46
- Ranks third in Campbell history in total points with 111
A 15-person committee of Big South Conference administrators served as the official voting panel to determine the All-Decade Team, with fan voting comprising 20 percent of the overall total. The 2010-19 Women's Soccer All-Decade Team is listed below in alphabetical order by position and features four forwards, four midfielders, four defenders, one goalkeeper and one head coach. In case of ties, additional honorees have been added.
