BUIES CREEK, N.C. – After helping lead Campbell to a Big South Conference regular season title, Jessica Donald and Jackie Richards have been named to the All-Southeast Region third team by the United Soccer Coaches.
 
Playing key roles in Campbell's attack, which ranks eighth in the nation in goals per game (2.78), fourth in assists (3.06) and points (8.61), Donald and Richards combined for 16 goals and 15 assists for the Camels (12-4-2, 9-1-0 Big South), who reached the league final for the second-straight season.
 
"We have some of the best teams in the country in our region and it speaks volumes of our players when they are recognized among the best," said Campbell head coach Samar Azem.  "I am so proud of the work Jackie and Jess put into their craft and we look forward to continuing to see their growth and development."
 
Donald earned all-region honors for the second-consecutive year.  She finished second among Big South leaders with a career-high 26 points (9 goals, 8 assists) in 18 games.  In addition to collecting all-region honors, she was named to the Big South all-conference first team and the league's women's soccer scholar-athlete of the year.
 
A senior from Tully, N.Y., Donald scored twice and had two assists in a win at Winthrop and also had two goals in a Big South semifinal win over Radford.  Donald ranks second on Campbell's career assists (23) list, eighth in points (63) and ninth in goals (20).
 
Richards, who joined the Camels as a transfer from Xavier, finished sixth among Big South scoring leaders with 21 points on seven goals and seven assists.  A second-team all-conference performer, Richards was also named to the Big South all-tournament team.
 
A junior from Reading, Pa., Richards scored and dealt three assists in a 5-1 win over Radford in the Big South semifinal, then scored in the league final.
