HIGH POINT, N.C. - Campbell track and field concluded competition at the Bill Webb Combined Events / Bob Davidson Memorial Invite with several Camels earning podium finishes.
ON THE TRACK
Athanas Kioko (3:45.54) and Travis Koekemoer (3:47.42) carried over their success from the indoor season, going 1-2 in the men's 1500m. Laderique McNeill finished fifth in the men's 800m with a time of 1:56.55.
Dorcus Ewoi finished second in the women's 1500m with a time of 4:35.73.
IN THE FIELD
C.J. McBride cleared 2.08m for first place in the men's high jump in his outdoor debut. Andre Douglas took fifth in the long jump after his mark of 7.11m.
On the women's side Hailey Huston Myles placed second in the long jump after recording a mark of 5.77m. Samantha Ennis' heave of 13.89m in the shot put placed her third overall in the event.
