Buies Creek, N.C. – The Fighting Camels stayed hot by sweeping the doubleheader against High Point in the regular season finale by scores of 8-5 and 7-4. Campbell has now swept four straight weekends and won its last 13 conference games.

Game One Recap
Campbell was aided by four High Point errors that resulted in five unearned runs on the day en route to an 8-5 win.
Despite still scoring eight runs, it could've been more for the Camels, who left 13 runners on base and at least one in every inning. The Camels hit just 2-16 with runners in scoring position on the day.
The Camels struck for two in the first, each unearned on an RBI single from
Spencer Packard and a sac fly from
Matthew Christian.
The Panthers grabbed a brief 4-3 lead with a three-run fifth, scoring on a two-run double from Cole Singsank and another on a productive groundout. But Campbell jumped right back to the lead in the bottom of the frame on a
Lawson Harrill two-run double to left.
Campbell would not trail again after the fifth, adding one in the sixth and two in the seventh, with each in the seventh scoring unearned on a bases loaded HBP and a sac fly.
Ryan Chasse worked 4.1 innings in his start and Ty Cumming's earned his first career win tossing 2.2 innings in relief.
Kevin Westlake picked up his third save of the year with two perfect innings.
Matthew Christian had a three-hit game, the 20
th multi-hit game of the season for the redshirt senior.
Connor Denning also had a pair of hits and an RBI.
Game Two Recap
Campbell picked up another three-run win, this time 7-4 in the regular season finale.
Thomas Harrington got knocked around a bit early, but the bullpen duo of
Brendan Wright and Aaron Run picked him up to finish the job. Wright tossed a scoreless inning and stranded two of the three runners he inherited in the fourth to earn the win.
Aaron Rund tossed 4.2 innings and struck out a career-high eight batters to pick up the save.
The Camels got one in each the second and third innings, on a productive groundout from
Marcus Skundrich and a sac fly from Harris.
After Harrington got into trouble and surrendered a pair in the fourth, Campbell followed with three in the fifth, including a two-run shot from
Collin Wolf, his second blast of the weekend and seventh of the year.
Rund did surrender a pair in the sixth, the only trouble he ran into during his outing. The redshirt-sophomore finished with a line of 4.2 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 8 K.
After the lead was cut to one the Camels had the answer again, this time with two more on a Neto RBI single to push the lead to the eventual final of 7-4.
With Packard's RBI, he broke the 60 RBI mark for the year, making him 10
th in program history for a single season and one of only five players in the country to reach that number so far this season. Neto and Packard each led the offense with a pair of hits.
