FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA. – Ten Campbell wrestlers posted top-three finishes, including four individual champions, on Sunday at the Georgia Open.

Brant Cracraft at 165 pounds, Cameron Andrews at 174, Conor Maslanek at 197 and heavyweight Chad Nix all won their brackets in the tournament, while Shane Quick at 184 and Brandon Hoselton at 197 took runner-up finishes.

Also placing third were Zak Thompson at 125, Hagen Heistand at 157, Patrick Adams at 174 and Luke Davis at heavyweight.

Cracraft went 3-0 through the 165 pound bracket in his first collegiate appearance, defeating Emmanuel's Connor Smith 9-4 before pinning Montreat's Dalton Towe (1:55), downing Sammy Gerard 14-12 in overtime in the championship round.

At 174 pounds, Cameron Andrews won all four of his bouts by decision, defeating Emmanuel's Grady Tisdale 6-2 and Lander's Aaron Hernandez 2-1. The redshirt junior finished the day with back to back overtime victories, 5-1 over Mike Edouard and 6-4 over Limestone's Hunter Haven.

Maslanek also went 4-0 at 197 pounds, defeating Lander's Ashton Hefner 3-2 and Quintez Shipman by major decision, 12-2. A redshirt freshman, Maslanek posted his second straight bonus point win, pinning Life University's Joshua Oyeneye (5:25) before advancing over teammate Brandon Hoselton due to injury.

Nix cruised through the heavyweight bracket, going 4-0 by a combined 42-5 score, including an opening round pin over Emmanuel's Ja`mon Goodwine (2:51). He then downed King's Jacob Telles with a 12-1 major decision and CU teammate Luke Davis with a 16-1 tech fall (7:00), topping Lander's Matthew Jimenez with an 8-1 decision.

In all, Camels went a combined 43-12 in the tournament with 25 bonus point victories.

Next up, CU will travel to the Life University Open on Saturday, November 19. CU will head to the Army Black Knight Invitational on November 20 before making its home debut on December 4, hosting Virginia.
