BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Audrey Fuller scored a career-high 14 points, Christabel Ezumah added a double-double with 10 points and 12 boards and Campbell defeated Coppin State 47-38 Thursday night at Gore Arena.

A sophomore from Brisbane, Australia, Fuller connected on 3-of-6 threes and also pulled down five boards. Ezumah added two blocks and two assists en route to her second double-double of the season.

Campbell (4-3) never trailed and held Coppin State (2-6) to 29.6 percent (16-54) shooting from the field, marking the second time this season the Camels have held a foe to less than 40 points.

Leading 12-6 at the end of the first quarter, Campbell extended its lead to as many as 12 in the first half following back-to-back threes from Shy Tuelle and Fuller. Coppin State made just two field goals following halftime and eventually cut the deficit back to single digits in the final minutes of the game.

Brittany Staves added seven points and seven rebounds while Svenia Nurenberg added five points, three boards and three assists in her first start of the season.

The Camels connected on 7-of-15 threes and limited the Eagles to just 2-of-16 shooting from behind the arc.

Colleen Bucknor came off the bench to lead Coppin State with 10 points while Hope Evans added seven.

Campbell hits the road next Tuesday for a 7:00 p.m. tip-off at Western Carolina.
